Welcome to Hamlin’s Engineering.  We are a company of motor and precision engineers.  The Company was founded by Thomas Hamlin in 1896 – right at the beginning of the motor age.  Thomas’s great grandson, Mark Hamlin, and his wife Francine, run the Company today.

We aim to provide a competent and efficient service, with the emphasis on quality engineering and a personal approach.  We are members of the Federation of Engine Re-Manufacturers.

We are proud of our heritage and with our accumulated knowledge we can offer a comprehensive service to the veteran, vintage and classic motorist.  However we also strive to keep abreast of modern auto engineering developments.  Having invested in the latest machine tools we can offer local repair garages and franchised dealers an up-to-date and fast service, including a free collection and delivery service and on-site repairs.
